General Information
Description:
This paper’s goal is to analyze the project management Extreme Programming (XP) methodology on the fields of communication and collaboration. Considering that some of the widely announced XP key advantages are mostly related to customer satisfaction, team work and collaboration, we have decided to focus on the subjects of pair programming, environment and tools’ effects on communication and collaboration, and customer relationships and satisfaction. Our purpose is to try to understand if the theoretically pointed out XP advantages actually hold up (and how) on real world programming scenarios and also to provide some guidelines on the customer-developer relationship.
